What a true honor to photograph this special family! Jonathan, Leslie and their family will soon be moving to Abilene where Jonathan will assume the pulpit at Highland Church of Christ. They decided on their session being in Fort Worth since that is where they are right now. So, we met at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and boy was it HOT! Those precious babies were sooooo good in spite of that awful heat and humidity! I met them for the first time when they walked up and my overwhelming feeling was “I love them already!” Enjoy a sample from their session…

Precious, sweet baby Noah! How wonderful to photograph him on his two week birthday! It was also serendipitous that we ended up at the same restaurant a few days later and I got to hold him while his parents ate their supper! I love my job!

Check out the baby blues on this boy! Someday, the girls will be falling for this cutie! Actually, his Aunt Debbie has already fallen for him! Perhaps I’m a bit prejudice, but I think he’s adorable and I love photographing him! We’re going to have a good time as he gets older and just gets cuter!

Back to Dripping Springs for another session this week! We’ve known Joel and Katie since they attended a Pre-Marriage Mentoring Class that Mark and I had the privilege of helping with several years ago. We were not their assigned mentors, but we fell in love with them all the same. Katie saw on Facebook that we had been to Dripping Springs for sessions recently and messaged me that the next time we came that direction, they would love to have some family and baby portraits! We were so glad to spend a few hours with them and their new baby, sweet Caleb!

Bridals and Bluebonnets….and a Baby!

What a beautiful Easter day to have a bridal session! Even these nasty West Texas winds calmed in the evening allowing us to get some awesome images! But, you know I can’t post any previews until after their June wedding, so for now, here is the bride’s little niece who was precious in the bluebonnets! If anyone is interested in a bluebonnet session, call NOW to schedule a session! Bluebonnets have a short life span and they are amazing right now!

Our “March is for Moms” special was a great event! Today’s session was a very special one for me though because I photographed Baby Aspen’s parents’ engagement session and their wedding! Melts my heart to see this precious two week old baby new to their family! And, baby Aspen’s Gigi was there for a three generation picture as well! Love them!

I spent a wonderful afternoon photographing Miss Lucy Jane! She is two and a half weeks old and has already stolen the hearts of everyone around her! She is blessed with a strong Christian family and they all live here in Abilene! She is precious! (So is Ginger, the family dog!)

Baby Anna Adeline is such a precious baby! Her features are just like her mother’s~delicate and soft. Cindy and I enjoyed our morning photographing her first portrait session. I look forward to watching her grow before our eyes. This could be the beginning of a long relationship!

What a wonderful day it is when I can travel a ways to photograph a sweet, brand new baby! And, when that baby is my new great nephew it’s even better! Baby Liam is just two days old in these images and he is just so beautiful! He was born into a very loving family with two great parents and a crew of grand and great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins! The last image I have posted here is a four generation portrait with his mother on the left, his grandmother holding him and his great-grandmother on the right. Blessings on baby Liam!
