Joel and Claire
(First of all, I must address my photographer friends out there who, when REALLY desperate for wasting time, come by and visit this blog, I have something to say to you. I heard several years ago that there are two types of photographers: 1) a photographer who has had a corrupted memory card and 2) a photographer who WILL have a corrupted memory card! Welcome to my world! In early January, this sweet family drove all the way from Graham for their portrait session. We had a great time and off they went back home. Late that night upon downloading images, I realized that one card was kaput! That was the card that held the wonderful images of Joel and Claire! Joel is going into the Army upon his May graduation from Texas A&M, so these images were precious especially to his mother! So, this afternoon, I headed up to Graham and we had session #2 with the same clothes, just a different location! And, it was my pleasure!)
Joel and Claire, you are absolutely the best! No growling or snarling (that I noticed) and you were so patient and fun to photograph AGAIN! At least it was a beautiful day and it was nice to be outside on such a wonderful afternoon! Our prayers go with you, Joel as you begin a new life journey!

Debbie, I know it was a sickening feeling to find that out. However, the images that you got today are great!
Debbie, thanks for putting a sinking sick feeling in my stomach about your flash card story ; ) You are right about it happening eventually, I had a flash card fail a couple of years ago, but gratefully it only messed with a couple of pics on the card, I downloaded the card then threw it like a hot potato straight into the trash. Your pics are always uber lovely.
