Pure Photography

I’m not going to beat around the bush….it was WAY TOO HOT today and for the past few days and the next foreseeable future!  But, these three kids were troopers in spite of the heat!  Jackson, Alice Anne and Gray are cousins and they love to play together and have so much fun!  Each of them is so very beautiful and sweet and I had a lot of fun…in spite of the heat….photographing them!  The last image portrays Miss Debbie’s reward for a job well done!

Baby Masen is just a few weeks old and when we visited his home for their consultation, he was wide awake and wide-eyed!  However today, he snoozed the whole session!  And considering what all we put him through, it was a wonder he didn’t protest!  But, he was very sweet as were his parents, Jasen and Brooke.  Jasen is a music minister at a local church hence the orchestral instrument below!

I had the best time photographing Rusty and Cathy’s family recently!  Love their home, love their family, love their dogs!  Rusty and Cathy have only lived in Abilene for a short time after moving here from the Panhandle.  We are certainly blessed to have such a great family here and I’m the blessed one to get to photograph them!

McKenna Jane is three and a half weeks old and I got to spend some of the afternoon with her and her parents, Patrick and Chelsea!   McKenna lives in the Metroplex and is very precious!  She is very blessed to have two great families to love her and her parents!  Also a host of friends who think she’s pretty special, too!

Hot summer days are here!  But, life doesn’t slow down in Texas due to the heat or mosquitos!  Just to prove that theory, enjoy these wonderful images of this sweet family!  It’s hard to not look melted when the temp is up, but mom came to the rescue with popsicles and we even captured some wonderful summer moments they will want to remember for a long time!

Beautiful Isabel made my heart melt!  Those big, big eyes are so beautiful and will make many hearts melt in her future!  Her parents are stationed at Dyess AFB here in Abilene, but her grandparents are far away!  So, hopefully, they will enjoy viewing these awesome images until they get portraits of their own!

I can’t imagine a lovelier way to celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary than being surrounded by your sweet family and wonderful friends….and being photographed to document the special day!  Dale and Judy have lived most of their days in Jones County.  Congratulations and blessings for many more happy years!

I started my day bright and early with this sweet family from North Texas!  Many of you will remember “guitar baby” from a year ago!  Well, sweet Ava here is just that baby….only one year later!  Chris’ parents live here in Abilene and his mom wanted so much for her kids to be photographed in her beautiful back yard!  I think you’ll agree it was perfect!

Miss Emily turned one year old last week!  Seems like yesterday we were photographing her as a newborn!  She is a precious little girl with a precious family and it’s always a joy to spend time in a session like this!
